Take Action Old Growth

You can help protect old growth by writing to your Congresspersons and tell them what you want and why in terms of old growth protection. You have an opportunity to voice your views on management of public resources including old growth forests that contribute many benefits to people and the ecosystem. Presently Oregon Senator Wyden and Representative DeFazio are working on old growth bills that may be introduced soon in the U.S. Congress.

Your support of protection of old growth trees will benefit water quality, wildlife and future generations. And be sure to remind them about the need for protecting trees that will become our future old growth!
