Community dinner at this year's Fall Gala in La Grande, OR

Thank You for a Memorable Evening!

Our 2025 Fall Gala in La Grande was a sweet success

On Saturday, October 4, our community came together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area and reaffirm our shared commitment to protecting the wild heart of the Blue Mountains EcoRegion.

We enjoyed a delicious, locally sourced dinner in great company, a fun silent auction full of regional treasures, an inspiring presentation by Caretakers of the Land, and the kind of conversation and connection that reminds us why we do this work.

An Evening Rooted in Connection and Stewardship

We were deeply honored to hear from our 2025 Wild Blues Artists in Residence, Caretakers of the Land. Bobby, Brosnan, and their daughter Meadow, shared a moving presentation on our responsibilities to the land and how long-standing relationships with native plants like dogbane and tule teach us about the importance of active, reciprocal stewardship. Their words and presence grounded the evening in culture and purpose, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to learn from them.

Thank You to Our Community!

To every one of you who joined us, thank you! Whether you bought a ticket, bid in the silent auction, made a donation, or simply showed up to be in community, your support means the world.

A special thanks to all of our event volunteers who helped us out in so many ways!

If you didn’t get a chance to donate during the event, but would like to support our work, we welcome your gift:
