About This Opportunity
Help us set the stage for beavers to do what they do best.
Beavers are nature's ecosystem engineers. Their dams slow water, raise the water table, and create some of the most biologically productive wetland habitat in the world — habitat that countless other species depend on.
We invite you to participate in beaver coexistence work across Northeast Oregon — from constructing Beaver Dam Analogs (BDAs) in streams to fencing trees to protect them from browsing. No prior experience needed, just a willingness to get your boots wet and work alongside our stewardship manager, Ian Wilson in some spectacularly beautiful places.
A note on timing:Â In-stream restoration work requires permitting, which means we can't always set dates as far in advance as we'd like to. Sign up below to be kept in the loop and we'll reach out as opportunities are confirmed.
