About the event

Take a trip into the stunning landscapes of northeastern Oregon and learn about how conservation and trails go hand-in-hand in the presentation: ‘Conservation, Connectivity and the Blue Mountains Trail’ at Wallowology,  508 N. Main St.  Joseph, Oregon Friday, November 3 at 7 pm. A question and answer session will follow.

The Blue Mountains Trail (BMT) is a 530-mile route between Joseph and John Day established in 2021 by Greater Hells Canyon Council as a physical and symbolic connection among the diverse human and non-human communities of Northeast Oregon. The route is an invitation to experience and protect the unparalleled cultural, historical, and ecological splendors of Northeast Oregon.

Join us to hear more about the trail and its potential as a catalyst for stewardship, advocacy, and landscape connectivity from GHCC’s Conservation Director, Jamie Dawson, and Trail Coordinator, Pip Redding.

Hope to see you there, and happy trails!
