Join us to celebrate the Greater Hells Canyon Council with a return to our in-person Fall Gala. We'd love to see you at a fun-filled event, featuring a local foods dinner, music by Brian Mandella, and a presentation about our work.
The event will include a a teaser for upcoming screenings of the film Elemental, including a panel discussion exploring the traditional role of fire as a management tool and the myriad ways fire is currently influencing our local forest ecosystems. GHCC Connections Coordinator Christina deVillier will facilitate the panel featuring Meadow Wheaton and the Rural Cinema Project, along with Tiyana Casey, Indigenous Relations Liaison for the Camas to Condors Partnership, and Paula Hood from Blue Mountains Biodiversity Project. The Gala will also be an opportunity to meet and get to know the new staffers at Greater Hells Canyon Council.
Online auction runs from October 4 -10, plus an event-only silent auction. Bid on vacation and adventure packages, artwork, and the Gala featured work by Baker City photographer Danielle Bernard.
Gala tickets are $40. Premium tickets are $60 and include a GHCC-branded MiiR 12oz Camp Cup and a 5-pack of notecards featuring the landscape photography of the Greater Hells Canyon Region by Danielle Bernard.

Take the rafting trip of a lifetime with OARS - a 5 day trip for 2 people on the Lower Salmon or Snake River. The auction package winning bidder can select the river trip of their preference. Snake River trip through Hells Canyon includes a flyover of the canyon. Trips can be booked for any opening in the 2023 season. Additional restrictions apply.

3 Nights at Good Bear Ranch for up to 8 people
This one-of-a-kind log home tucked into the base of the Elkhorn Mountains is located on 250 acres bordered by the Wallowa Whitman National Forest.
