The Blue Mountains Forest Plan is currently being revised, and the FINAL 90-day public comment period is now open. Over the next three months, we will be diving into various aspects of the plan so you can be more informed about what's being proposed for your public lands.

On Monday, April 6, 2026, Greater Hells Canyon Council and Oregon Wild filed a lawsuit challenging the Forest Service’s final decision on the Ellis Integrated Vegetation Project.

From what we’re seeing so far, 2026 will be a defining year for the future of public lands in our region (and beyond).
